The leasehold development covering 14.5 acres (5.87ha) of land which includes a mall, hotel and convention centre is conceptualised to provide a trendy venue for all to conduct business activities complemented by F&B and entertainment elements under one roof.
“We are pleased to announce that our group is not only the first property developer to initiate this first-of-its-kind concept, but also the first to set up the al fresco dining concept in Klang,” said founder and managing director of KM Land Group, Kee Lian Yong. “One Kesas is indeed well positioned as an integrated commercial and entertainment hub with food and beverage elements — all conveniently placed in one venue.
“Klang has no specific place for community get-togethers. Currently, they (residents) need to drive to Petaling Jaya or Kuala Lumpur looking for good dining places and shopping venues. This is why we have conceptualised One Kesas as a platform for the Klang community to come together at one venue as a one-stop destination,” Kee said.
The development with a gross development value (GDV) of RM300 million comprises 3- and 4-storey commercial shoplots, a 2-storey premium shoplex and 3- and 4-storey commercial (al fresco) shoplots. It also will have boulevard shoplets, a banquet and convention centre as well as a landscaped courtyard. Meanwhile, Phase 1 is currently 45% completed while the site for Phase 2 is currently being cleared. This entire project is set to be completed by mid-2016.
One Kesas plans to have restaurants and bistros serving both local and international cuisine, a convention centre which caters to weddings and banquet services, as well as an open courtyard specially designed to complement other businesses such as banking and financial services, educational services, beauty and fashion houses, health and wellness services, digital lifestyle, and games arcades.
“One Kesas will soon be established as an icon in southern Klang, providing a one-stop dining and lifestyle-inspired destination for residents and business travellers,” he said. “It also promises a new dimension in business lifestyle that blends with the aesthetic beauty of modern architecture. It is conceptualised to provide a unique way of doing business by blending lifestyle and leisure in a comfortable ambience.”
One Kesas is located in the heartland of surrounding upmarket developments consisting of various integrated townships totalling more than 40,000 units of residential and commercial properties, and within an area in the Klang Valley where continuing developments of another 100,000 units are anticipated within the next few years. As the development is nestled in a mature high-end property, there is a ready affluent market with an estimated 200,000 residents within a 5km radius.
One Kesas is accessible via major highways such as Kesas Highway (from Kuala Lumpur, Cheras, Subang Jaya, Puchong, and Shah Alam), Pulau Indah Highway (from Port Klang) and Jalan Banting (Banting and Klang town).
